Technology evolves over a period of time but there are some technology products that have seen very minimal evolution. Think a computer keyboard. I have not seen any major change in the keyboard design ever since I started using computers about a decade ago. It’s still the same and you would agree it sucks!
While the netbooks and tablets, the computers of tomorrow, are getting colorful and smarter with every year, the computer keyboards are same old and dull. Even the black color is stuck to it like a glue. The nebook keyboards and the onscreen tablet keyboards are getting their share of innovation but when you look at computer peripherals they have seen almost no evolution.
I wish some day some computer manufacturer will fulfill the wish of Laptop and Desktop computer users by offering a touch keyboard or some other innovative and less painful way of typing. With our lives revolving more and more around computers it’s unbelievable that the supporting accessories like keyboard and mouse have not kept up with the usage growth. Anyone would love to have a computer hardware accessory or software that does all the typing but I believe many would be delighted even if they can get a touch keyboard for laptop computers. A keyboard that’s not just a plain black keyboard dotted with black keys having white characters. A keyboard that they can connect to any computer and type at ease without straining their bones and muscles.
